There is a Place in Hell for Me and My Friends

i work hard for the money

damn straight, honey.

work has been sick the past few weeks. by "sick" i mean really, really extremely busy. some days i feel like it sucks, but on other days, i feel like it's pretty awesome. the work i've taken on over the past two months has completely changed my outlook on this job. maybe i'll stick it out for longer than a year after all (do not hold me to that statement).

but seriously, isn't it nice to end the day (even if it is too late) feeling like you've accomplished some goals? or at least to be so busy with things you are interested in accomplishing? every job should be like that. and if yours isn's, i urge you to look elsewhere.

so today is the first day when i have actually had some down time. what do i do with that down time? go straight to the internet. no, i don't take a walk around and say "hello" to my long-lost friends on the second floor (they moved me up to the 5th floor, which is like corporate america compared to the second floor). i come to the internet so i can say hello to you, my friends who read this blog.

i don't know who all of you are. but i know you care, you really care. and since i have not been posting lately, here is a list of things that have happened in my life:

1. went to ocean city, md for a weekend. that was in october. there was a corvette convention. hahha.
2. went to nyc for the weekend. stayed in the millennium hilton with a beautiful view of the world trade center hole. walked back to the room one night and all i could picture were the people who jumped out of that building to try to save their own lived. pretty fucked up. sorry for the downer. the reason we went was to see morrissey at the hammerstein ballroom. it was one of his best shows i have ever seen. and if i am counting correctly, i think i have seen him 12 times. wow, i'm like a deadhead or some shit. but for a gay 80s singer. weird, i know.
3. turned 31. and life goes on.
4. visited the family in connecticut and saw some amazing soccer moves and the ultimate cheer. also went to stephanie's wedding. great to see old friends. wish we saw eachother more.
5. had dinner with the neighbors. nice people. we don't have all that much in common, but the fact that we lay our heads about 30 feet apart from one another must mean something, right? oh and we all need to eat dinner. and drink wine, of course.

now we're all caught up. i better get back to work.
