when i say "i love you" i mean it.

a friend of mine was just telling me about how some people in her office were engaged over the holidays. the engagement stpries made me think about our wedding and a really great story.

we had to do the whole catholic thing, you know. so during the mass we had to take a rose to the statue of mary and they played ave maria or something. so as emily and i are standing there "praying" i lean over a bit and whisper, "i love you." emily responded (appropriately) with, "i love you too." and i go, "i was talking to mary."

it was a moment to be remembered forever.
